SCIENTIFIC MISCONDUCT QUESTIONNAIRE

NOTICE

This questionnaire is being conducted by Dr Robert Montgomerie (phone 613-533-6127, email montgome@biology.queensu.ca), a faculty member in the Department of Biology at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON K7L 3N6, Canada.

This survey is designed to evaluate the attitudes of scientists about the nature of scientific misconduct. There are no known physical, psychological, economic, or social risks associated with this study, and your participation in this procedure is completely voluntary.
The only individuals who will have access to the information that you provide are researchers at Queen’s University with scholarly interests in the behaviour of scientists, and your confidentiality is guaranteed by the nature of this questionnaire. If you should choose to sign the questionnaire or otherwise identify yourself as the respondent, your responses will not be connected with your name in any publication, and your identity will be known only to Dr Montgomerie.
