The three-year General degree plan provides a solid grounding in Biological Sciences and can be taken through either an Arts or Science concentration. The General plan offers students access to the same set of 100 - 400 level courses as the Honours plan does, meaning broad training in all major subdisciplines in Biology and hands-on laboratories and field courses.
Overview There are two general Biology plans. The BIOL-G-BSC plan, with sufficient electives to total of 90.0 units, will lead to a Bachelor of Science degree. The BIOL-G-BA plan, with sufficient electives to total of 90.0 units, will lead to a Bachelor of Arts degree. The full calendar description can be found under BIOL-G-BSC or BIOL-G-BA in the Faculty of Arts & Science Calendar.
