The Queen's University Biological Station (QUBS) is one of the premier scientific field stations in Canada. For almost 70 years, researchers and students have gathered at QUBS to conduct leading-edge research and participate in courses spanning ecology, evolution, conservation, geography, and environmental science.
Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre
The Elbow Lake Environmental Education Centre (ELEEC) is the result of an agreement between the Queen’s University Biological Station (QUBS) and the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC).
Fowler Herbarium
The Fowler Herbarium collection, now housed in the Jessie V. Deslauriers Centre for Biology, includes over 140,000 plant specimens with some dating back to the mid-1800s.
