This form must be completed and forwarded to the Phytotron Manager for review by the Phytotron Committee. Notification of approval/rejection will be received within 3 weeks following receipt of request. Please refer to the Greenhouse Space Allocation Protocol (2005) for details pertaining to this application process.
Important Notes
- Allocated space must be used to utmost efficiency - requested duration of use is restricted to the minimum time required to achieve desired results.
- Requests for extension must be received by the Phytotron Manager at least 3 weeks prior to the end date specified in the original request and is subject to approval by the Phytotron Committee.
- Teaching requests receive priority over Research requests for Zone 1 bench space allocation only.
- Researchers may appeal a decision by the Phytotron Committee to the Head of Biology.
- Once you finish using the greenhouse or growth chamber, please ensure it is properly cleaned and submit a termination request to grow@queensu.ca. Failure to do so will result in continued account charges.
