Biology is one of the larger departments at Queen's University with 30 full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty, and a strong roster of adjunct, emeritus and cross-appointed faculty. Our 11 administrative staff help us to run the graduate, undergraduate and main biology offices, and administer all aspects of building operation and maintenance. We have 4 instructors who help us mount our lower-year undergraduate labs. A research associate runs our core molecular lab and helps to train incoming graduate students. Our Biological Station has both a Manager and Associate Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
