As a teaching-focused faculty member in the Department of Biology, my work is dedicated to creating engaging, evidence-informed learning experiences in biology and interdisciplinary education. I strive to foster curiosity, critical thinking, scientific communication, and lifelong learning. I have taught courses across the biological sciences, including introductory biology, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and biotechnology, as well as interdisciplinary courses that explore learning, problem-solving, and complex challenges. My contributions to teaching have been recognized through multiple institutional teaching awards.
